Background
The International Press Corps, acronymed by IPC, is a simulation of international news media frequently seen at the United Nations. Delegates represent journalists from world news organizations rather than countries. Such as the New York Times, Al Jazeera, etc. IPC reporters are in charge of informing the public about what happens inside the council chambers, covering the debates, the resolutions, and other details. Here, journalists get to experience attending press conferences, interviewing delegates and chairmans, and writing articles for publication. All in an effort to be familiarized with journalism, form strong interpersonal communication skills, and extract instant news from events occurring.
